Of the two agents who called me, one said yes that's fine we represent the tenant (and presumably he was paying her directly), the other did not return my call which was fine by me (I got the impression from her voicemail she was fishing to get me to list the property with her).

Maybe I'm looking for excuses now but I hired K. to manage the property in the first place.She wasn't good in marketing obviously but my thoughts were "Well, maybe she is not good in catching fish but if she is excellent in cooking it, it's fine with me.

I half considered putting a gps tag on a fish tape and sending it down the cleanout but those things don't have great accuracy and I would want to know that path to more precision than six feet.

But that's a good point about a big fish coming in and you make reporte with them and to do that you probably have to advertise so the buyer comes to you direct.. if they come in through a Co broke you probably don't meet them..
