There are two kinds of treatment.

Or look into a passive fractional option that still qualifies for 1031 treatment. 

@Paul OBryan, after researching this issue,  I don't see an easy or ethical way around California's unreasonable definition of doing business in the state. 

The pest company should take on treatment for termites, framing work, and anything that requires chemical treatment.
