So the fact that its close to retail is fine by me, because its basically coming with about 15k in furnishings/tv's etc.. it's completely turnkey (everything from pots and pans).

It disturbs me how the word "Recession" is thrown around like a fad by the media and/or analysts on TV.

More interest is being given to fancy but functional bathrooms such as heated floors, jacuzzi bathtubs, access to phone, tv, music and laptops as well!

I watch TV; read BP; and catch up on my e-mail.

However, I usually analyze all deals with a 30 year term so that I'm comparing apples to apples.

My feeling is that apts are easier to track and compare, like apples vs apples.

During the boom, you could not turn on the TV in our area without seeing a commercial by QUICKEN LOANS for this type of loan.

Obviously the President can't come on TV and tell us to stop going out for dinner and to stock up on beans & rice, but that seems to be what typical American's are missing in the message of its severity, especially considering the price tag.

So if you get a bad apple that rents the property on a short term lease, and they suddenly decide they really like not paying market value for their rent.
