I own 5 rentals, and while it is indeed a business, part of the reason I got into being a landlord was to feel like I was doing something more meaningful other than sitting in a cubicle all day for a big telecommunications company.  

I have a lot of experience as a Financial Analyst, manager, and project manager and have worked in all types of types of industries(healthcare, IT, retail, telecommunications) and I am able to learn things quickly.

Yet it cannot be denied that Venezuela suffered one of the sharpest economic declines in history immediately after it began one of the largest nationalization campaigns ever, one that went far beyond its state-run oil operations.By nationalizing everything from steel and shipping to agriculture, mining, banking, electricity, telecommunications, and more, Hugo Chávez set his people on a path to serfdom from which there was no turning back.

Under the Telecommunications Act of 1996, you cannot restrict a tenant from installing a satellite dish on the unit, as long as its under 1 meter in diameter and it is installed in an area where the tenant has exclusive use (patio or balcony, or a roof if a SFH).  

Thanks Marc, the lease actually says:"Tenant, without the prior written permission of the Landlord/Agent, will not remodel or make any structural changes, alterations, or additions to the Premises; will not wallpaper, paint or decorate; will not install, attach, remove or exchange appliances or equipment, such as air conditioning, heating, refrigerator or cooking units, will not drive nails or other devies into the walls or woodwork...The installation of television/radio dishes, antennae or cables, while not restricted by Landlord/Agent, as required by the FCC Telecommunications Act, as amended, shall not be installed, by Tenant, in any manner as to cause damage to the property. 

For example, my lease has the following clause in it:NEIGHBORHOOD CONDITIONS: Tenant is advised to satisfy him or herself as to neighborhood or area conditions, including schools, proximity and adequacy of law enforcement, crime statistics, proximity of registered felons or offenders, fire protection, other governmental services, availability, adequacy and cost of any speed-wired, wireless internet connections or other telecommunications or other technology services and installations, proximity to commercial, industrial or agricultural activities, existing and proposed transportation, construction and development that may affect noise, view, or traffic, airport noise, noise or odor from any source, wild and domestic animals, other nuisances, hazards, or circumstances, cemeteries, facilities and condition of common areas, conditions and influences of significance to certain cultures and/or religions, and personal needs, requirements and preferences of Tenant.

The former tenant has a good job of over 8 years with a telecommunications company.I'm just afraid to sign a contract with a collection company and then find out I've done the wrong thing and I'm tied up with them but they're not legitimate.
