And you have to constantly put work in - this system doesn't turn unless you keep pushing it. 

I suppose I am wondering how to find interested real estate investors in the area or look for interested agents with input into what my best move would be really get the ball rolling

Getting into these properties as a non occupant coborrower (all the money invested to get in was mine) was a less cash heavy way to get into the properties versus as an investor.I already have great equity in these properties and prices continue to up.Sounds like, so far, the consensus is to sell the properties and roll the money into other non-condo units.

I’d also look into using an FHA 203k renovation loan, allowing me to buy something unqualified for a standard mortgage, which would weed out a lot of competition and push the price lower.

Renting is just pushing an issue down the road and can very well become a more costly mistake. 

I do this when I have a problematic tenant that may push back.

Apps are also better because you can get push notifications instead of checking your email every 5 minutes and apps just look better.
