Can landlords require a tenant to have renter’s insurance ?

Lots of folks are pulling out cash based on the appraised value for their next projects and holding for a few years to benefit from appreciation. 

it may get worse though as folks get out and check things out.

It looks like we might be moving internationally so beginning to reach out to folks in case there's interest in it.

I'm going to try and see if any of the long term neighbors want to do it, lots of pre-gentrification folks still here who might be happy to.

Be sure your lender is comfortable with this, as many fear giving folks primary loans for properties they view as having a high probability of being turned into a purely investment.

I will go see samples but figured you folks could give a definitive thumbs down if this is just today's version of cheap linoleum.

Some who are more entreprenuring folks might say 60-40 or 50/50 it all depends doesnt it?

That is I think it is more aligned with the fact that above average (in price) houses don't make good rentals--so these folks primary hold houses which are below the average price in the areas they operate.What do y'all think?
