Problem working with regular buyers is you take them all over the place and can only take one out a weekend at a time unless using a bus tour,etc.I focus on commercial and not residential but I know it pretty well.

.- If they are more reasonable you may want to accept if for now, but let them know you'd be doing regular increases to get the rent more inline with market rent.Too many newbies here will tell you to get market rent or get rid of the tenant.

@Placeholder PlaceholderOne word of caution I would advise: If a community or local government is enacting restrictions and also regularly enforcing them, then its often a reflection of the local community sentiment which increases the chance of a neighborhood or nearby resident calling you in if they think you may be running an STR.
