Set up a sprinkler or turn the hose on them every time they appear.I have also heard that spreading large quantities of pepper or itching powder on the ground where they camp also may work.

People can be beat to death with a flashlight, tasered to death, a group of people died in a nighclub in Chicago from the improper use of pepper spray that led to a stampede.
