I've learned SOOOO much from those podcasts and the books they've recommended; like Brandon's Book on Rental Property Investing, Rich Dad Poor Dad, E-Myth, and one book I stumbled into at Barnes & Noble called Flip: How to Find, Fix, and Sell Houses for Profit.

The plan is 3BR condo or small multifamily and I've been watching the market closely for the last 6 months.Targeting properties along the "Milwaukee corridor" (Logan Square/Avondale to Noble Square) that are within walking distance to a Blue line L stop.

For the most part,  the intentions are noble,  and in some areas like seattle,  issues of affordability are increasing and very real,  even to people with good blue collar jobs.
