Because you're dealing with buyers, you can unload the assets and skip the painful process of managing in NYC.Our state legislature and governor are in agreement that they will make it even harder to be a landlord in this state.

One thing that I might add to consider is that NJ Governor Murphy has recently proposed a short-term rental tax on Jersey Shore rentals.

We contacted our Congressman, Governor, and both California Senators, and recommend other investors in this space do the same.

Side note: The current Governor of SC, Henry McMaster, owns quite a bit of student rental property in Columbia and tried to get the 3 unrelated persons ordinance overturned in 2011.
