I'm not sure if it's ceramic, porcelain or some other kind of tile but my question is whether the mold would get into the grout or the tile itself?

Floor is porcelain tiled all the way to the walls.

For contemporary, I go with the glass mosaics and sleek porcelain tiles, grays are popular as are other light colors.Cabinets - definitely custom and depending on style of home, medium to dark stain is great and sometimes white with the option of mixing in stain on the island cabinets to create more contrast.Beach cities - go with modern contemporary.

Any recommendations regarding ceramic vs porcelain vs travertine?

. $4 sounds hi for splash tile, I get porcelain for $2 from some local dealers.

That has to feel like the most exquisite freedom.

Thinking maybe a porcelain travertine at this point to be more budget conscious and still get that premium look.  

I see that you are from Paraguay, do you know if Paraguay offers construction goods, such as Porcelain floors, laminate flooring, kitchens, bathroom fixtures, electrical assemblies, toilets, sinks, etc?
