My goal is to buy properties in both Florida and Michigan so that I can escape the cold MI winter and hot FL summers.

For it to be considered a legal (4th) bedroom it must be 70 sq ft/ have fire escape so im thinking it would be better to list it on the lease as office/storage space. 

SW FL is seasonal the other way - busy in winter for northerners escaping cold, but slow in summer because it’s too hot.Seems like there should be some place in FL that’s a happy medium.
