Issue is that this is very easy to transfer and survives quite a while even in people with zero symptoms.  

In consideration of the extenuating circumstances COVID-19 presents, we will waive our remote closing fee for the foreseeable future.Finally, if you are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, have been in contact with someone who may have COVID-19, suspect that you may have COVID-19, or have been diagnosed as positive for COVID-19, please notify us immediately and do not come to our offices.

Shutting down whole cities should help but if there's a two week period before people experience symptoms then we really shouldn't expect to see any decline, if any, for at least another week...

Remember, this virus can be transmitted by people who don’t show any symptoms and is persistent for days on some surfaces.

But the economy is only the symptom of a disease.What are we doing to combat the disease????   

I think this event will make people more responsible (savings/rainy day funds will be taken seriously) and healthier (people will actually wash their hands and stay away from people who show symptoms of a cold or flu). 

This viewpoint is a symptom of the underlying inequality of classes in America--property owners are assumed to be able avoid "feeling the pain" in times like this because, well, they are property owners.
