The martial arts helps kids in so many other respects than just the self-defense application so it's not all bad.With the arts you have to train for a very long time to take complex movements and make them part of your natural reaction process.

My initial reaction from my walk through above would be that the holding period in the Real Estate doesn't begin until you have the rights and benefits associated with the real estate - so the earliest at the end of the redemption period, but really beginning once you take possession and can start doing stuff with the property.Some further digging I found some examples of it, but if you were a paying client I would be spending more time to see if there were any subsequent changes to this rule - at the very least Bloomberg isn't calling it out on me ;) . 

I'm not licensed to practice law in SC so I'm probably not the best candidate to duke it out on this topic... but I am very surprised at the knee-jerk reaction of some attorneys.

I would have found his reaction amusing had I not had flees on me as well.

It's a normal reaction, but it's not going to help you solve the problem and deal with it.

Tell all those who lost their shirt in US real estate in 2007 - 2008 that they shouldn't have diversified and watch their reaction.

Spend your energy on action, not reaction to a negative.
