I am planning a new over-and-under duplex build and want to use the best methods to reduce sound transmission between floors.I read suspending drywall on resilient channel attached to Sound Isolation Clips from the floor joists are a good way to reduce vibrations to the lower floor.

Also make sure that you vibrate with your goals -- you will then talk to everybody about them and find help in seemingly unlikely places.I'm not sure what your education is, or what you are going to be doing for work -- If you are not currently on a career path with high earning potential, I can recommend looking into a sales job with actual unlimited earning potential.

When I do any work as a contractor and their are people living In the unit or close by I always drop off a flyer prior to construction explaining that there could be vibrations and please put away anything that could fall and break.

It is an apartment, get over it.Although I was once being a sympathetic listener to a  lady was complaining about a hostile neighbor, turns out the neighbor was hostile because she was using a vibrating excercise trampoline on a hardwood floor at 12AM.
