When you drive out to your example I'd be thinking.....hmmmm why is there a tennis court next to the deal I'm getting ready to buy? 

Their company is pretty great at not responding to their communities people , not following local law yet alone their own lease agreements The uptick of lot rents I get it it’s business but also driving out affordability for people which again it’s a business so some may say that part is just the territory , but not following lease agreements , hiring poor management and then doing nothing about it when it’s escalated is a reflection on their business aswell   best of luck. 

Take good notes, ask good questions and then, and only then, after you have completed a transaction and feel confident, should you ever try and venture off on your own.Think of it like this...... you can drive without car insurance. 

There are areas outside the Tahoe basin with a short drive that can provide for solid short term or long term income streams and still pull in the Tahoe goers.

The furthest properties are the hardest to deal with because my contractors don’t want to travel that far due to their time wasted driving and the cost of gas for their big trucks.

Now that I have a stable income and the drive, I want to finally pursue my curiosity for Real Estate. 

It takes getting off the road everyone else is driving (the MLS) and putting some work into it.

All in all I will be loosing 10's of thousands.This process killed all of my real estate momentum, but has ignited a drive to succeed.

If you haven't already, try going off market, driving around neighborhoods that would be of interest to you and finding ones that fall into your criteria (your agent should be able to help you as well).
