The closes I could come to answering this question was "30 Year US Treasure Bonds".1) Low risk2) Decent return (Currently)3) Nobody involved besides me and the best economy in the world (The US).4) And no work other than monitoring the economic climate sporadically.Now, the bigger question is "How to get to $10m in liquidity?"

@Roy Gottesdiener - I am not familiar with the rental market with Kings Mountain specifically, but there is grow happening in that area with the building of the Catawba Two Kings Casino. 

Vegas is a larger market with more new construction, they are getting more sports teams, and trying to diversify the economy past casinos.

The Casino was packed but not many people shopping around the town or at the beach.

But, the treasurer and recorder say I have a clear title.

You get it by going to the county treasurer or county clerk's website and searching the address.

I own 4 acres right next to the Graton Casino  that could be my next project put in about 100 apartments and call it a day.. won't have great returns 5 to 6% but I will get them and not have all the stress and drama like what your going through...
