This American tradition is rather simple, it is our day to give thanks, however we chose to do that, for our blessings, our success, our families and our lucky stars if you like.It's going to be a day of turkey and ham, dressing and our favorite meals, usually with pumpkin pie with assortments of other things that will make you fatter.

Now the land , I was thinking of farming it , pumpkins or corn .

(pumpkin farm with hay rides, etc, Christmas tree farm with Santas Village, vineyard, organic farm or ranch?)

He would also go buy a truck load of pumpkins to give out to the tenants just before Halloween.   

His 80/20 rule sounds very similar to what is recommended in the book The Pumpkin Plan.

Unless it's a true emergency (see first bullet), & you take care of the problem in a timely manner, tenants aren't going to turn into pumpkins if the faucet leaks another day.• Get set up with reputable local contractors/tradesmen.
