I prefer impervious porcelain tile floors in my bathrooms and kitchens.

And wants to use smaller tiles...not the 12x12 porcelain I wanted.

Looks like slab porcelain but I’m guessing not based on your $3k figure!

Last surround I did was 6x12 porcelain "travertine look", because the bath had other pink/tan features.

Replace porcelain tile $75.00 ea.

We have modernized the entire home- no carpets wood stairs, porcelain wood grain tile throughout .

For the best durability that exceeds even granite and affordable price, I would choose porcelain slab.

It looks like to replace old tile with porcelain might run me at $11 a sq ft versus lvp from flooret (assuming the floor is leveled) at around $9 sq ft.
