I'm here in Los Angeles just north of your Hermosa Beach location. 

I'm looking into Berwyn and Cicero right now (a bit out of the city), as well as Hermosa.

We live in the Hermosa neighborhood (60641) not relatively near a train stop.

2) Some recommendations for great brokers/agents in this area that I could reach out to and learn from.Just a little about me; I was born and raised in Southern California (Hermosa, Redondo, Torrance area) and have experience as a leasing agent at a property management company for the last 7 months.

I have finally saved up enough money for my first purchase, and I am looking for a fix and flip somewhere in the chicagoland area (I currently live on the west side, so I am most familiar with opportunities in neighborhoods like Logan Square, Wicker Park/Bucktown, Hermosa, Avondale, etc., but I am also considering up and coming neighborhoods on the south side like Woodlawn and Bronzeville). 

I am down in your area a few times per year....I have friends in Hermosa Beach and Culver City.
