I know you guys are very knowledgable and would be so great if you can just lend me some words of wisdom.As for the court house auctions -- how do I check out all the outstanding liens without paying an arm/leg to the title insurance company and in case I did not even win the bid, I would have lost a few hundred dollars just for doing a title search?

I hooked up with him at an REI club meeting and used him for about 15 years.I live in a town that's pretty small (we got a HD 3 years ago), but obviously we're large enough to have a "contractors supply" (side road location, not generally interested in doing business with the public) and a "lumber yard" (busy highway location-definitely interested in everyone's business).

The site content seems to be outstanding as far as content for new & seasoned investors but some of the message board threads go months between replies.Then I notice that a lot of the posts come from Prohabber and Biggerpo, who in my opinion appear to be knowledgeable, unselfish investors.
