I 100% agree with everyone here - one color is always best, simply because you will always know what paint you need to do touch-ups.My two cents to add to the conversation: make sure that it is a common color that is stocked in multiple hardware stores.

There used to be a strategy, I believe a poster on the now defunct website Fat-wallet who went by the name Suckisstaples coined the phrase App-O-Rama for it.Basically you would do your homework and get a list of companies you would apply for and apply for them all in one sitting.

What @Todd Plambeck said, except also wanted to add that for master bedrooms, I pick up clearance black-out curtains, nice quality machine-washable fabric, neutral styles, with the white backing (for usual HOA requirements) and on-sale hardware and install them myself.
