Seller agent disclosed today that the seller is filing for bankruptcy.I am already in escrow.Besides the checks that the title company will do, is there any additional steps I should take to make sure that this house is not subject to repossession by any creditors?

Having to buy another primary residence, to avoid tax on the gain of your current home, has not been a requirement for over 20 years.Assuming it was your primary residence from the beginning, and you have not moved out/rented it for more than 3 years, you gain is exempt up to $250k filing single and $500k married/filing jointly.

So new kid that bought his system was offered a two hundred bucks MF that was normal appraised for 150k only lol… and expecting that market would just grow , the system is working in 2009 though same thing to what Greg Hugher did in other bankruptcy filing lol
