Specifically, must this be a commercial/business loan type where you have higher rates and shorter loan life or is there an alternative loan type? 

I personally do not touch equity in my own home to incorporate into my business.

Every day is a school day in this business.

I only bring it up to say it can be done, even with a group that doesn't have a long history in that market (the two deals I mentioned were the first in the market to acquired by a Sumrok student).

Good concept but so much red tape it does keep us little guys out unless the qualified developers are willing to bring us into their deals.

There is so much that goes in a business, rental rates, rental tax, inventory,  job costing, payroll, business analytic reports etc, QiuickBooks does handle what I have mentioned here. 

Usually most franchise models in other business environments have the whole package.

The other is a smaller operation which does a lot of business in the specific neighborhood the house is in.
