Doing a room takes about 45 minutes to an hour, and will leave you a fresh concrete surface that can be sealed, or preferably, epoxy coated for a good looking, basically bombproof floor.  

High power bulbs require a large number of Amps (Watts = Volts x Amps, so Amps = Watts / Volts which implies in a 12V system that amps will be an order of magnitude larger than normal 120V household lighting), and to keep the voltage drop down thicker conductors are now needed.Nowadays LED bulbs can be purchased for outdoor lighting.

Paint the entire ceiling with a couple coats of paint.

The aged white oak floors will be natural finished with a few coats of poly. 

I think though am not sure that you can seal solid wood better than you can engineered as far as pouring two coats of poly on it after installation.

My house has a dusty yard and every time we open the windows and doors it seems like we get a new coat of dust inside.

I was speaking of the painted countertops covered with the "fifty coats in one."

Looks like to might hold up well with all the coats of stain.

I have painted walls, ceilings, doors and trim.And lastly, I have painted the concrete with two coats of paint.Smell is much better but still present.

If it is worth over 1mm a buff and coat on the HW floors on the 4th floor and some window repairs are not going to matter.
