How did you handle tax prep when you first started investing, especially with a plan to scale over time?

My business partner and I purchased a commercial office building a few years ago with creative financing.

Does anyone have a document that breaks down a deal from start to finish, including potential tax incentives?  

I've partnered with several contractors over the years (before I got my own license) and it is very normal for the contractor to be paid for materials and labor, even if they are doing the build "at cost"It's complicated and as other have stated, you've gotten yourself in too big of a mess to be sorted out by some people on an internet forum. 

Are you still considering building more of a portfolio or are you happy with where you're at and you just wanna pay off the debt?

So I'm a fan of buying in the path of progress from here since it's starting to expand outwards into cheaper neighborhoods.

I would like to build a duplex on it for long term rental income.

An LLC isn't necessary when starting, in the long term, it may be worth exploring.

I started off with 3 houses on a lot and another house two lots down.
