Personally, I would definitely look into either new appliances with little scratches and/or dents (assuming they aren't an initial eye sore) or slightly used appliances.

And yes, that means the new owner could get caught up in some uncomfortable stuff for a bit until help arrives.It's an interesting segment of the insurance industry in that it does not insure against a future accident or occurrence like most insurance.LOIs and MIAs are a sore spot for me and the main reason I retired from a job I really enjoyed.

There is a difference between finding off-market properties and finding people that offer "off-market" properties.If you think that the end result is the same "you get an off-market" property, you are sorely mistaken.Off-market properties DOES NOT MEAN motivated sellers.STOP looking for off-market properties and start looking for MOTIVATED sellers.Example.How many of you deal with wholesalers that bring you "off market" properties where the friggin wholesaler is trying to sell you that contract $10K difference than what the house would be listed for on the MLS, with NO meat left on the bone.OK, so now that we have that out of the way...Your question should be.."

In Portland they have become much more common and accepted, they're not viewed as just an eye sore anymore.As far as the side of the house it's on, we almost got a PPA a couple years ago, but the panels would've gone on the street-facing side of our house, and we ended up not doing it because people thought it would be an eyesore.
