For now though, from what you've described, you'd just be biting the hand that feeds you and then chopping off your nose to spite your face. 

Unless your situation is more complicated than described, I'm not sure why you would form multiple entities, trust, file as s-corp, etc, or even a Series LLC.

Some wealthy folks like you're describing will throw people a bone every once in a while. 

Paul, these lower-end areas tend to be the places where you can cash flow like you're describing, in addition to Richmond, Vallejo.. 

This is surface level, as every deal has its own specifics, but.......I have seen a handful of portfolio loans (which is what you are describing) come through our lending platform in the last few weeks.  

My plans is almost exactly as you have described.  

Meaning, can you describe the kind of property, the kind of tenants, the kind of investment you're looking to make?

The family demographic you described is definitely another group to target as guests, but they are a smaller subset of the overall "corporate traveler" market. 

@Alan G. is also right when he describes the local banks that hold their loans and another definition that some call a "blanket" or "portfolio" where there's more than one loan covered in the loan.
