You'll probably get better service approaching it that way than hiring a professional manager anyway.  

Also know where your local laundromat is and what the pickup/delivery service is.

However the owner comes from corporate world and they started out doing deep dives into markets and moving Hedgefund type portfolios between large investors.. they then decided to offer there service to smaller turnkey type and one offs..

The big question is will the neighborhood decline, hold steady, or rebound. 

In real life, the portion that goes to principal increases by the same amount that the interest due decreases.Credentials don't seem to matter in this thread, so I won't mention the MBA I have with a specialization in finance, or my time spent as a commercial real estate loan servicer.  

I think another idea is come up with some renderings and a slide deck and go make presentations at the closest senior centers, Rotary and other service clubs, maybe several nearby chambers and see what kind of interest there is. 

We like the software, but the consulting service seems taking a bit too long... we would like to have someone to help us out with set ups, automation and a general marketing plan...

So far I am basing it on customer service.

In lieu of living quarters, and if your area doesn't really need the value of a garage due to weather, the best uses I have seen are full-service home offices or gyms.

@Jay HinrichsPre-reo was owned by AHP servicing (plenty about them on here), this platform was homes that had yet to be foreclosed on (I think they were reverse mortgages) that they would sell and manage for investors.they would also finance it at 12%+ rates.
