You could play some algorithm games on Airbnb (though it's hard to tell if this will result in a direct increase in bookings or if any of this is true but it's easy enough to try!)

Shortcuts, exceptions, and, in my opinion, algorithms, will all set you up for unnecessary aggravation, and unnecessary expense.

He's got an algorithm set  up to maximize duplicates.

There are computer algorithms like Zillow estimates, but they aren't reliable when studying a particular property.Find a market and study data from multiple sources.

My concern would be that Airbnb would misread occupancy and demote each of your listings because it does the algorithm does not know that the third listing is associated with the first two. 

It's a good way to get recognized by online algorithms to bubble to the top of the results when people search relevant terms.  

Direct booking lets guests get away from the fees and all of the noise in the OTAs with their algorithms and such and it lets the hosts be in charge of their properties and bookings.

Google has but ONE algorithm.
