Some buildings function more like a hotel where they will handle everything catered towards short term rentals- these types of buildings will more likely have a lobby concierge, they can call you if you have guests or food delivery- they might also have things like car valet service or poolside get togethers.

I would probably add an outdoor kitchen area, game barn, game room/theater in the house, in addition to slowly redecorating and upgrading bathrooms to be more spa like.

If my predictions are correct the demand will drop back to normal, the increased inventory will result in higher vacancy rates, cities/states will increase regulation and taxation, AirBnB and other platforms will increase their fees, cleaners will charge more, hotels will lobby politicians, etc.

Is there a name on the door, on the sign board in the lobby, etc.Since they don't have any info, you could ask for double deposit if that is legal where you are...or ask for some rent up front, if that makes you feel more comfortable....or if they just can't provide any info, then turn them down.

Only attorneys and RE agents can do this.Double closings are very , well I have seen almost fights in lobby's of closing companies where this happens.Can you imagine that your mom was behind in her payments and a wholesaler grabbed her $125,000 equity and sold it and the wholesaler made $25,000 and someone else bought the house and have almost $100,000 equity?
