The market here in the MSP metro seems to be cooling down as our temperatures do.

Cutting a hole that big in a foundation is beyond my comfort level even if it's properly engineered.On another note, are you looking at homes in Weld County?

Especially attorneys that represent cities and counties, they'll know the temperature of the markets, how many foreclosures are happening, where they are happening, where people are moving to, businesses coming in the area, etc..

There are clear warnings posted on the unit itself about the dangers of temperatures over 125 degrees and removing panels with the electricity on. 

Most materials will have a low temperature requirement but the thing to keep an eye on is that sometimes it is not only the ambient temperature but also the temperature of the surface that you are putting it on.

First, are you able to remotely monitor the temperature setting at 70 degrees? 

In the case where you are managing units remotely and there is no staff, how often do you check units, do any cleaning, are these outdoor units, are they temperature controlled?

In buildings with central heating systems we use programmable thermostats which allow a "hard" max (heating) or min (cooling) temperature to be set.  

However I'm not quite sure how to deal with the hassle of the tenants not agreeing on a temperature.

That way the whole house in theory should be the same temperature.
