So for now I would say my goals in REI are to learn as much as possible, build my net worth, and put myself in a position where I can decide whether this would be a viable business for me to focus my efforts in. I

The area I am in is not as big or popular as main LA area but searching listings on MLS especially listing that have been sitting for a month or longer is a good place to start.

My duplex is in a prime location on a side street in the middle of our village which is always a plus, is quite large, one side is a 3/1 and the side I’m living in is a 3/3 and it has 2 deeded parking spots in the adjacent parking lot.

Spend a set amount of time educating yourself and then jump in is my advice.
