Just spend a little extra and avoid the hassle and expense of ripping up and replacing old carpet in a few years (or less if there is pet urine).

The thing with water and drywall is it all has to be ripped out.

Much easier than ripping out the paneling and buying thicker drywall.  

Window screens should be present and operational, and should be free of any rips, tears and / or damage to the mesh portion of the screen.Heating units: should be dusted and access uncluttered, in compliance with local fire code.Hallways: should be clean and free of hazards.Stairwells: should be clean and uncluttered.Laundry areas: should be clean and neat.

It has been vandalized and so the plumbing has been ripped out.

Get one that need a bit of work (not talking about ripping out kitchens or knocking down walls) and see how you do with a small project first. 

I ripped this place apart to studs and concrete.

IL  OR  FLA  OH  others  MD  TX  and many others could give a rip unless of course someone files a complaint then your going to have to hire a lawyer to defend yourself. 

If they're going to rip up the floor, dig it out, solidify a foundation anyways, turn it into an ROI project vs just getting up to parr.

I don’t know if I should just rip the whole main floor out and replace it with LVP or should I just figure out what hardwood I have, replace the living room laminate with hardwood and just start the refinishing process?
