Why buy a cow when you can get the milk free?

That's kind of like saying drinking milk is a gateway drug, because most people that smoke crack probably drank milk sometime in their life before they started doing that.If it was a truly harmful drug I would say report it to the police, and get rid of the tenant if you can.

They may just be milking the system.

@Brandon Giarusso after reading all the posts, and without knowing your friend/partner, I think you are being milked.

Things I'm into: Coffee (specifically almond milk mochas and caramel lattes), ceramics, sketching, listening to BP on the way to work, riding my bike, hiking, and standup paddle board. 

I'd be curious if all the other bills were also paid late or with bad checks or was it just the rent.I read this as both sides trying to manipulate the system and a judge who rules by his emotions rather than strict interpretation of the law.Kevin it does seem like both sides are milking the system.

I had these strange mustache hairs that were growing upward and into my nose instead of downward.

If not they will milk free rent and try to delay eviction or wait until the last second to move.Either way you are going to be out some money on this one eventually.
