I still need to get more properties by using conventional loans and develop a more stable business credit before doing LLC. 

Been around for quite some time and have made runs trying to acquire a SS facility and also considered developing in the past but now feel like its time.

To provide an example, I was previously employed in the legal department of HHM, which at the time was a an affiliate management company of a publicly traded hotel development/operation company where we managed  the portfolio of  hotels as well as provided 3rd party management services.

I was interviewing someone today for a marketing position and she is working for a company that were two IT professionals who sold a business, started a multifamily fund that is not doing well so now they are starting a ground up development fund for single family homes and another fund in commercial real estate.

STRs sound like too much work to me.Portfolio income = stock dividends, interest income (from banks, credit union etc), Master Limited Partnerships (Form K-1), Business Development Companies (Form 1099), bonds, interest earned from investing in a real estate debt fund, interest earned from being a private lender

I know this has been spoken about before but I am currently working on building tiny home developments, like multifamilies using tiny homes throughout the country and was wondering if anybody else is doing the same or has interest.

I can't believe what the developers sell these things for originally though.  

With my approach, I may want to come in around $1200 while offering as much or more than most other rentals.So, keep in mind market rent is also based on YOU and YOUR approach to pricing and how to develop the value-proposition you want to offer a tenant.  

My husband and I started out holding properties in our own name, and later developed an LLC structure (which also moved to a new structure later on).
