Ever toured a real sh*tbox and flipped the lights on and heard/ seen the cockroaches scatter?

My question is has anyone dealt with the Fannie Mae Multifamily small loan program and one step deeper the fannie mae scattered sites?

Not a bad analogy but what if someone sees the car like you said cleans off the cobwebs then tries to move it It does not start so you start taking apart the car removes parts scatters them around but does not have the knowledge or means or will to get the job done and leaves it in a worse situation then it was before The person squatting on the property is still a squatter until the 5 years or 10 years process has completed ,before that it is just an illegal act 

Forcing them into weird contexts soon proves impractical, and often not even legal.A tiny house novelty hotel can make money -- but how about a bunch of tiny house hotels scattered everywhere?

I moved the refrigerator, and at least 1,000 roaches from under the fridge scattered like teenagers at a kegger busted by cops.

It really depends on the MLS system, since there are probably 1000 scattered across the US, rarely do they overlap completely in terms of features or how your local laws/real estate commission govern what can/cant be done.  

You can though find 30k homes in little towns scattered throughout the US... challenges there will be minimum wage renters and no hope of type of appreciation.. which even in the major metro areas there is little appreciation to speak of simply because were your going to buy is dominated by rentals and investors only pay by return on investment.. to get appreciation you would need major moves in rent rates and that just has not happened .. rents have stayed pretty stagnate in most of those areas and are not predicted to go up.. you go up above the current rent rates.. and folks are going to buy homes at least your premium tenants.. you will always in those markets have your lifelong tenant

I'm sorry if this is kind of scattered, I guess my real problem is I'm not sure how safe of an investment this could end up being: Downtown LA is expected to rise in value, but will that particularly apply to a condo like this one?

We have a scattered site apartments team that handles everything from 5 to ~60units an no full time on site staff.
