Basically, you probably only think you have a corporate veil to protect/separate your personal assets, but if you had a lawsuit it seems like you have a rude awakening. 

Makes it easy for politicians to cover doing nothing by blaming rich people.Worked great in pre-war Germany by blaming a certain religious group for the problems of the general population.Sad how it speaks to the average IQ of people.Since Ds own Congress and the Presidency, I'd think it'd be prime to shove stuff like that thru.

Hello BP,I've been asked by a religious organization that owns several acres of land to help them develop an 80+ unit, 55+ community.I've never developed on "Tax Exempt" religious property before and I'm not sure the best way to go about this.The goal of the religious organization is to provide income to their organization from the rent and thus creating long-term sustainability for their organization.

I was checking Zillow pretty religiously at this point, so knew it wasn't listed.

@Adam CraigI would at the very least check into what is allowed by zoning, and if you can property tax relief, if any, if your rent it to a religious organization (I'm guessing not).  

I may not be religious, but I believe that missing out on this deal was a wake-up call from God telling me to think bigger and step up my game.Nothing fuels me more than people doubting me.
