Knoxville is another one that I like as well.  

To build off the prior comment re: Tennessee, the most popular LTR markets I see are Memphis, Knoxville, and Chattanooga.  

Try Knoxville.

@Jason Sousa Personally, if A and B class is your focus, I would say look more at Chattanooga and Knoxville.

I have been eyeing TN because I have friends that are spread out around the state and like the no income tax. would you think that areas around Nashville or Knoxville would be better investments and job resources since I will be looking to continue a W2 Job?

I hate he commercial aspect of the holidays and would really hate seeing that many signs around.Where I invest had a thousand or so signs posted a week after Knoxville area had a real estate class offered. 

I am about to place by first section 8 tenant in Knoxville; if it runs as smooth as the utility company, then it will be fine.My thoughts on Greg's comments speaking from my experience in Memphis, not Little Rock, where it works much better and the issues we are talking about below are almost non-existent.
