As was the case I handed my home depot to the gut helping me and a check for a 1000 this is two montjhs later some drywall and wiring and one rubber hose.. a real long story but allot of painting and caulking caulking everywhere and everything..so instead of getting my kitchen cabinets and the stove, venting micro and dw..He bought the goods to tile a shower and more a few thousand this was the charming cheapy cabinest and descent stove and dishwasher..anyway ..

We are electrical contractors so there is little difference, but there are some areas I can give examples:Homeowners want a Square D QO panel which is rated the absolute best for safety (and has been for years), rentals want Homeline or low end equivalent.Fixtures can make a huge differece - $4.97 Home Depot special for rentals, selection process for Homeowners (HOs) to pick the perfect fixture as per their individual tastes.HOs may want Decora style switches or receptacles (sometimes in screwless plates or specialty colors), REIs want economical, standard in white or tan (stock).REIs often have very little hand-holding.

I recommend reading 2 negotiation books, 2 marketing books, 2 selfhelp/success books, 2 flipping books, and a handful of the Home Depot Do-It-Yourself manuals to get familiar with how a home is built and repairs are done.Heres a lot of good Real Estate Related Books.

The verbal agreement was for them to help around the house, (Gardening, painting, etc.) pay rent ($500.00 normally $2000.00 for that home in the area) and their own utilities.

Until the health inspector who is also a landlord in the city told me that Home Depot sells ones that have sensors in them and will go off as soon as another one goes off in the house.

You don't find these guys in the Yellow Pages (generally); instead you find them via references from other investors, at your local REIA meetings, at Home Depot shopping for materials, or you might just stop by a job stop you happen to drive past (assuming it looks like they're doing a good job) and grab the number off the back of the their truck or hand them a card.

I do have an FEIN# and plan on opening credit with the likes of Staple/Office Depot, Lowes/Home Depot as I understand this is the best first step to building credit.
