@Glenn Primack, having too much cash buildup is certainly one of the better problems to have with your business.Upgrades can be from a mild aesthetic upgrades (refresh paint on the trim / light posts / mailboxes), more expensive renovations (landscaping, new garage doors, new air conditioners in units that need them), or major projects.  

They are in the aesthetically-challenged areas with mostly good people...but lower income... some immigrant populations, from Mexico.

You're off to a great start...as far as the aesthetics go, you really have an attractive and inviting "look" going for the site.

BUT you also have to consider aesthetics.

I will be doing extensive aesthetic renovations inside and out as well as past due maintenance.

Aesthetically, I like the the painted version but non-painted paneling doesn't show the dirt and you will never have to paint it.

@Karen Margrave I'm trying to understand what the benefit is to cut back the roof other than aesthetically alteration and removal of shed.

You've done a great job at creating the aesthetics, now its time to add the finishing touches.Great photos are important as well, because many home buyers choose the houses they are going to look at through the online photos.
