What you are experiencing is, unfortunately, part of the learning curve, but it can pay dividends in the future.One of the investors who spoke at our Lowell meetup shared a similar story.

I dont want to get a loan for more than the true sales value of the property but I would like to get atleast the normal amount back for the money I have put into it. 

Just about every time I have been privy to the details of a transaction where one of the parties is unrepresented and the other is, the unrepresented party gets the short end of the stick.
