Worst case scenario pet leaves a bad odor in a house, thankfully you can ozone scrub a house and literally remove all odors from a home.

You will most likely need this for odorizing the floors at bare minimum.One thing to keep in mind, is that a puppy will definitely tear up the floors and possible walls.

@Robert T. the problem is that you are letting the mice inside, which then creates an odor/health/removal problem.

It is reasonable to expect waste is properly cleaned up from common areas, and there should be no offensive odors emanating from the residence.

Our property managers have been there multiple times, and can only smell the faintest odor of it, and can’t find the source.

There was no odor of ammonia  or cat pee or chemistry equipment.

As for concerns about water spills, modern cork-backed vinyl plank flooring is designed to be water-resistant, so it shouldn't absorb water or develop odors over time.

I also have had MORE issues with cats over dogs, cats leave an odor and no matter what it seems every cat enjoys urinating in every room of the house, dogs for the most part go outside and the owners know it is their responsibility to clean up after their dogs even outside.
