A few tips to build it faster:1) Attend local real estate meetups and networking events—Houston has an active investor community, and BiggerPockets is a great place to connect with others before meeting them in person.2) Join Facebook groups and other online forums for Houston real estate investors.

You should praise the Lord you joined Bigger Pockets and posted in the forums.

It is critical to educate yourself on this type of investing and joining a Community of like-minded investors is a great way to find and vet operators together, analyze deals and work together to become better investors.Good luck!

I was a member of the NAR 20 years ago and would rather not join.

I thought their might be a website that would have this information already.Also since I recently joined BP I can post in a forum but I can't start a topic. 

I have looked up building companies in the area, joined Facebook groups, posted on Linked In, searching the MLS, and have a networking event coming up.

Also, joining local investor networking groups will help you learn the area and strategies better as well.
