OK, that's an extreme example, but I used it to highlight that risk and return are highly correlated.

From what I have found, most of these are in the Norfolk/Portsmouth areas....but as others have highlighted in other post the area can really make a big difference on the quality of the property.

I have never been denied financials to a property or even been denied a showing once I talked through my evaluation process, highlights of my resume, and detailed that I have a number of partners I work with to close deals.

The reason I mentioned the homestead case law was to highlight how difficult it is to determine whether a house will fall under the 180 day or 2 year redemption period.
