I hate to say it but it's starting to feel a bit like 2007, with sub2 being the new subprime mortgage...Agree about the 2007 feel. 

I think several members here will agree that wholesaling abroad brings challenges to an already challenging business.

I agree with @Jonathan Greene that the question is vague, so my advice will have to be as well.The short answer: MTRs are real estate, so just like all real estate, any place that can long-term-rent cash flow with increasing jobs/population can be a suitable site to purchase. 

Hi Leah, I don't agree with the comments about wholesalers I've helped a lot of people struggling to get out of their properties, especially when realtors are asking them to do repairs they don't want to or can't do.

I agree with complications of ownership when it comes to Land Trust, and it also does nothing for asset protection. 

Unless you have cash backing of your own to buy and a solid commercial buyer's list, these deals are unlikely to close.It doesn’t matter if I agree or disagree with the answer the responding poster provides.  

I agree, shorter-term plays are tough in the current environment, and patience paired with a strong strategy often leads to success, unfortunately this is a strategy that a lot of real estate investors don’t really have the experience and the patience to follow.

Agree with @Jonathan Greene seller financing sound like it could be a great opportunity for this investor!
