Hi everyone,I'm getting conflicting information from supposedly knowledgeable sources on this, so I wondered if anyone has been down this road and can direct me to a reliable info source.I'm taking in-kind distributions from a SDIRA which is all in just one SF home.

The area is rife with well issues, roads can be sketchy...There aren't many places for sale in that specific area - https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/19077-Choctaw-Rd-Bend-OR-...That is one place that could work, but you would be looking at 250k to bring it up.

The criminal background check came up clear but I found out that the male tenant had case against him that caused him to loose his job at the school due to inappropriate behavior.

I say this because it will be a slow road to get paid outside of getting this money here so focus your attention where the money is at now.Thanks @Jonathan Klemm

when starting to get in the world of landlording and investing easier, and go for bigger projects down the road.

I require a social security number to run a credit/criminal background on every adult.

Then down the road 12 months or more you can refinance pull some cash out and buy another property.Atlants & Oklahoma City are both great locations just do your home work on the neighborhood for home appreciation and rents. 

I think this could be a tough road to navigate but I would certainly look at minimum standards for owners just as you want to be selective on the tenants you put into a unit I think you want to be selective on the owners.

This is definitely one of those road blocks that is on my list to explore.

Reason why is rates are tending down you can always refinance down the road for the overall lower rate to bring you back close to where the rate is at now.
