I’ve been researching a good bit but seem to be having issues finding the right lender.

The house is recently renovated, and shouldn’t be having any major issues for a while at least.

Give great consideration to the design of the house that does not meet current safety standards and know if you are in a sue happy area or if you can put something in the lease noting these items and expect the people to behave. 

Unfortunately I don't have any tips for you, but thought I'd add some insight from an owner's perspective as to why you may be having trouble getting responses/leads.

It might be (having not seen your home) that a Los Cabos place might be geared towards younger people/couple.

Our tenants have one dog who seems well behaved and with an up to date vaccination record.

Rental Demand: This keeps vacancy and turnover down (resulting in lower maintenance too), and tenants tend to behave because they know your place is a hot commodity.
