Buying used ones often means one gets to purchase another one on the 91st day, the day after the warranty expires....or enjoy running around the neighborhood hauling appliances purchased through craigslist.Lowes and Home Depot both always have sales on washers and dryers, they deliver for free, haul the old ones off and the tenants think you're a great landlord for getting them a shiny new toy when you've purchased the on-sale, least expensive washer/dryer these stores carry.Gail

Who's not to say that a week, a month, or a year from now, whatever the case may be, one of their kids clogs a drain by throwing a toy, some clay, or who knows what else down a drain.

Same thing with pennies all over the place they are supposed to bring them in money for good luck.This is all a lot of these tenants hold onto too is fables and trying to win the lotto every week.One tenant I evicted like to tinker with old electronics.You would not believe how many junk tv's were in there we had to clean out.
