Despite the name Debt-to-Income ration, lenders will include your fixed carrying costs - debt service, insurance, taxes, licence fees, etc. - but not the operating costs (utilities, snow removal, property management, accounting, etc) 

Naturally, my licence is held by a broker with a particular company.My question is: Can I start my own property management company without having a broker on staff?

If the guy is a qualified and licenced contractor consider hiring him to do the work but never agree to trade work for rent.

Under current law, only a qualified licenced pro. can do the work.

There are a good number of us architects on here (licenced and un-licenced).

Education is invaluable and the need for it doesn't stop the day you get your licence.  

I would first off all register my business through "Brønnøysundregistrene" (The Brønnøysund Registers, formally the Register Unit in Brønnøysund, is a Norwegian state agency subordinate to the Ministry of Trade and Fisheries that runs many of the country's most important registers - Wikipedia) and I would also guess that we will not need a trade licence for home renovation business (but this depends on what your working with, for example if your performing electrical maintenance or electrical installation you need to have a electrician licence to do this).

You could have also called the company to ask who the car was assigned to (or at least said you were going to).Have the licence plates of the tenants and do assigned parking.
